Sometimes you want to have a content feed display not as a widget on the user dashboard but as a link in the menu structure that takes participants to a resource list feed (a list of content items, like a widget but on a new page). To enable this, it is simple as 1,2,3 (4 and 5)!
1.) Create the resource feed. Remember the Feed ID. If the feed has already been created, click on "Edit" to display the Feed ID. You can add content to the feed whenever you would like, but it is not required to set up the page.
2.) Go to the Package Manager and "Edit" on the package you wish to display the feed in. The location of your package manager link varies in each portal. If you cannot find it in the admin menu structure, contact us at support@insala.com for further support.
3.) Decide where you want the content resource page to display in the menu structure. Once you have decided, right-click the desired section and select "Add External Link".
4.) Give your resource page a name and Copy/Paste the following link in the URL field: /ICM/ContentManager/Feeds.aspx?fID=###.
The "###" at the end should be replaced with the Feed ID (from step 1). Ignore the "ToolTip" section.
5.) Once done, click "Save" on the popup, "Save Changes" and "Publish" in the package manager.
New content can be added to this content feed whenever you would like. It will display in a list on the content page.
