You can only invite others to join the portal if they are already part of the network. You can see if this is the case by looking for the 'invite to network' button in yellow beside their name in the search results. You can invite the person to join the portal by clicking on this button. A message will then be sent to the user via their preferred email inviting them to participate in the network. Note: This feature is only available in the alumni system portal.
